The Magi Fund

The Magi Fund is a financial and artistic vehicle uniting the community in a common effort for the benefit of the Joseph House Center and the Christian Shelter, two nonprofit agencies meeting the critical needs of the Lower Shore's least fortunate.

Dear Friend of the Magi Fund:

Thank you so much for your past support of the Magi Fund through your purchase of Choral Festival tickets. On November 19 and 20, The Magi Fund will host its 18th annual Magi Choral Festival.

This year’s event, called “The Best of Magi,” will feature the music most popular with the public during the past 17 years. The program will include performances by the National Christian Choir, our very popular (and expanded) Magi Children’s Choir and returning for the first time since 2001, a local Magi Community Choir. Groups will perform individually, but they will also be massed for several musical selections together, including the “Hallelujah Chorus”.

Your support of The Magi Fund over the past 17 years has made a phenomenal difference in the ministries of Joseph House Center and Christian Shelter. With your help, we have raised over a million dollars for these two charities – all without paying a single salary, renting office space or paying office expenses. How? The Magi Fund is an all-volunteer organization that operates off kitchen tables and is committed to giving 100% of every dollar raised to Christian Shelter and Joseph House Center. And, in addition to the money raised each year, thousands of cans of food items are collected to stock their food pantries for the winter season… all this and more… because of you – our faithful supporters. You are the “magi” that makes it all happen. Thank you!

We’re looking forward to wonderful concerts on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th at the Wicomico High School Auditorium on Glen Avenue in Salisbury. And, we’re counting on you being there!

Thank you and God Bless!
